When viewing images, REMEMBER to adjust the brightness and contrast controls of your monitor.  Otherwise you may lose information.

In this image, there is a black circle in the center.  This black circle represents the gestational sac of a Day 33 +/- 4 Day intrauterine pregnancy (IUP).  Surrounding this black circle is a lighter-colored ring of tissue.  This represents the early placenta.  As you can see, it surrounds the gestational sac completely at this time in gestation.
